I was born in Batumi, a seaside city in Georgia. Even though my family never really lived there, we visit multiple times a year, so I’ve always been able to reconnect with the sea quite often despite not growing up there.

   Each photo draws a different atmosphere, perspective, and vision of the sea, so it's hard to sum them up in just one word. But I will say there's something soothing—and even joyful—about the sea, and I think that comes through in most of the photos. I can't explain it any further, so hopefully the photos will do the rest.
